I am a 40-something year old computer analyst working in the world of the mainframe and the confines of the corporate machine.

I don't really have a favourite colour.
I am living common-law after being divorced. I have a son and two daughters, plus a step-daughter. All are gems in their own way.

    A Picture is worth a thousand words. 

    The past few months have been full of things better descibed with pictures...so here goes.

    October -- Halloween

    Much pumpkin carving was done. After a trip to the pumpkin patch where each of us brought back a pumpkin, everyone picked a pattern they wanted on their pumpkin. I got to carve each one. They didn't turn out too bad.





    The one above is a happy face and here is the haunted mansion.







    A pirate skeleton. And all designs lined up.






    Then there was the decision to buy a dog...just before my trip to Dublin, Ireland. Lots of pictures for both of those events. Here are just a few.












    December saw a birthday and Christmas come and go. January was bringing in the new year and finally deciding it was time to get some new furniture.




    The puppy is growing fast. February 13th saw a big snow storm hit. It took hours to dig out. Forty five minutes to get a path to the front door. The cars were burried deep.













    Well, I'm done for now. Blogger doesn't make it easy to use pictures.
